REBATES AND FINANCING
Paying for a heat pump
VIS Mechanical is a Home Performance Contractor Network member and is listed in CleanBC's registered contractor directory. Our heat pump installs can qualify for a BC Hydro or a CleanBC rebate, but not both.
In the District of Saanich, homes heated by oil, gas or propane can apply for up to $12,000 in 0% interest financing for a heat pump. VIS Mechanical is on the district's eligible contractor list.
Homes heated by electric baseboards or an electric furnace can get up to $4,000. You apply to BC Hydro after the install.
Income-qualified homes heated by oil, gas or propane can get up to $13,000 from the Energy Savings Program. You pre-register before the install.
